The Flemish Interactive Coaching Monitoring System

As large-scale coach education programs receive a growing amount of attention and investment (e.g., human financial resources), the case for increased understanding their impact is pressing matter. In this paper, authors outlined creation Flemish Interactive Coaching Monitoring System (FICOMS) within School Coach Education (Belgium). The FICOMS data warehouse consisting multiple databases, which was set up in 2019 to integrate on certifications (1960–present), active coaches club-organized sports (2014–present) sport clubs, participants, infrastructure. provides variety interactive externally facing dashboards with useful statistics coaching Flanders. For example, evolution dropout ratios qualified versus nonqualified clubs federations can be identified, as well percentage specific sport, federation, or gender, regional differences.
